INSTANT FAMILY MEALS || MY NEW COOKBOOK!!
I have so much to tell you, I really don’t know where to start—which is why, of course, this post is long overdue! I’m here to announce that my newest book, INSTANT FAMILY MEALS, arrived safely into the world just two weeks ago, and is already changing the way families do dinner.
I say that both sincerely, and modestly—It’s not me, it’s the pressure cooker. It’s a game changer for busy families, especially now. And this book—which is chock full of the favorites I’ve been leaning on in a tough year, coupled with the big flavors of food I miss most from restaurants and take out food—is right on time to help your family.
I’ve been getting emails, text and notes from friends, colleagues, former babysitters and folks I hardly even know with pictures of their glorious Cacio e Pepe Risotto, Tikka Masala, and Red Lentil Dal (which are emerging as crowd favorites so far). But the best text was the one I got from my friend Shira, who said: “Everyone loves new pressure cooker mom!” with photos of the Beef Borcht and Chicken Pozole she made for her family, back to back, two nights in a row.
Shira would know—like me, she’s spent over 15 years working in magazine test kitchens (mostly at Martha Stewart Living), which doesn’t necessarily make getting actual dreamy family dinners on the table night after night a breeze. But INSTANT FAMILY MEALS, does.
I hope INSTANT FAMLY MEALS finds its way into your home and your hearts, and most importantly I hope you love what it offers your family—a bit of ease, a little break, a lot of flavor— and week after week of cozy family meals with the ones you love most.
