EVERY DAY IS SATURDAY: RECIPES & STRATEGIES FOR EASY COOKING EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK by Sarah Copeland #SarahCopeland #edibleliving #cookbooks #everydayissaturdaycookbook
I wanted to eat everything in this book and lick the pages clean. Sarah has created a book that is not only beautiful to look at, but also makes me want to start cooking and baking immediately.

I was planning on continuing with GIFT GUIDE here (more coming) but I did an ask me anything on Instagram this week and several of you asked about my new book, which is all the nudge I needed to get this up here, today! This beautiful work, above, has my heart and soul in it; this work that took 18 months of writing and developing, two months of shooting and way too many weeks of editing to count—has a name, and a face. And I love it. EVERY DAY IS SATURDAY!

Everything on this cover has so much meaning for me: a table my husband made, and the chair he built for our baby son that he has sat in since his first foods, a napkin my mother made from linen she brought back from Italy, and the meatballs I didn’t grow up with, but longed for, and now make for my children once a week (to rave reviews!)

Ours isn’t a fancy life, but by God it’s a good one—simple and sweet and totally full of moments like this. Moments created with a lot of love and heart, because we believe in nourishing each other at home so we’re ready for everything that comes at us out in the world. The way we live now came from trying on lots of different lifestyles for size before landing on one that fit just right. I write about this in the intro to the book (which I dearly hope you’ll read—it sets the tone for everything that follows)—and I can’t wait to tell you more about why it works for us, and why I’m pretty sure it will be a sweet spot for you, too.

But for now, it really IS SATURDAY—so go out and enjoy your people, but first, PRE-ORDER THE BOOK HERE (MORE SOURCES BELOW), so you can slip a note inside someone’s stocking saying that it’s coming. (Pre-orders are the first to receive them when they arrive, later this Spring). And, in case you need a nudge, here’s what a few of my favorite food people are saying about it:

"Everything Sarah cooks looks like something she's made expressly for your happiness. That she has two young children and a very busy life has always made me wonder, How does she do it? The answers are on each page of this book, which is as practical as it is beautiful. Sarah's get-ahead suggestions, her ideas for gathering-and pampering-people around the table, are down to earth. With Sarah at your side, every day will be Saturday in your home, too."—Dorie Greenspan, award-winning author of Dorie's Cookies and Everyday Dorie

"Every Day is Saturday is all kinds of joy bundled up with the kinds of festive, vibrant recipes that make you feel like you can have it all, even on a crazy Tuesday."—Molly Yeh, host of Girl Meets Farm and creator of My Name is Yeh

"Every Day Is Saturday should be our new collective cooking manifesto, and Sarah gives us the tools and tips to make it happen. The recipes are modern and nourishing, with room for indulgence, and most important, to connect with the ones you love." —Aran Goyoaga, author of Small Plates & Sweet Treats and creator of Cannelle et Vanille

"Sarah's voice and recipes exude a tone of warmth and appreciation for life, which I admire so much. She teaches us that life can be, and should be, delicious." —Mimi Thorisson, best-selling author of A Kitchen in France and French Country Cooking, and creator of Manger
